Jockey pump adalah pompa kecil yang dihubungkan ke sistem hydrant untuk menjaga tekanan air dalam sistem hydrant. Jockey pump akan bekerja saat sistem hydrant diaktifkan untuk menstabilkan tekanan air. Saat jockey pump sudah tidak bisa menstabilkan tekanan air, maka tugas jockey pump akan digan tikan oleh electric pump.
